At Autism Trust USA, donations are not simply contributions; they are the foundation that makes our mission possible.
As a nonprofit 501(c)(3), we rely on donor support to move these critical projects moving forward. Donations directly fund construction, accessibility modifications, infrastructure improvements, and specialized spaces that public funding and insurance programs do not adequately cover. Without philanthropic support, these life-changing developments simply cannot happen.
Our mission is to build family homes for our adults. Having traveled extensively visiting other centers in Europe and America in our research for the perfect forever home for our son, we realized everything was far too clinical. We want our adults to feel safe and secure in a family type setting.
Our Story
As parents of a child with autism, Polly and Jonathan Tommey were faced with the painful and disturbing reality that their son, Billy, would have no long-term care facilities or suitable options for his long-term well-being beyond his school years.
Future Facilities
Designed for safety, dignity, and independence. The Autism Trust USA will extend our facility as an outreach centre of excellence for autism, offering vocational and respite services to individuals and their families living with autism.
Current Facilities
Since its founding, Autism Trust USA has demonstrated that meaningful change is built through action, accountability, and perseverance. Explore our journey and timeline since 2007 when the Autism Trust was launched in the UK.
